By booking photography services with Hookum Photography LLC, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following policies and procedures.

1. PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & RESERVATIONS

A deposit/retainer is required to reserve a photography session, event date, and time. No date or time is considered secured until the required deposit/retainer has been received.

Any remaining balance must be paid according to the payment deadline provided by Hookum Photography LLC. Late or missed payments may result in additional late fees.

All outstanding balances, late fees, additional service fees, and other charges must be paid in full before any final images or products are released.

2. NO REFUNDS

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Hookum Photography LLC does not provide refunds for deposits, retainers, session fees, payments, or other amounts paid for photography services, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

When Hookum Photography LLC elects to issue a credit instead of requiring forfeiture, that credit must be used within 90 calendar days from the date it is issued. Any unused credit automatically expires after 90 days and has no remaining monetary or service value.

Credits are non-refundable and may not be converted to cash.

3. LATE ARRIVALS

Clients are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for their scheduled session.

A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be permitted. If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the time lost due to the client's late arrival will be deducted from the scheduled session time. The session will not automatically be extended. If you arrive 30 minutes late, you must reschedule.

Additional fees may be assessed when a late arrival requires additional photography time, staffing, studio time, location time, or other accommodations.

All additional charges must be paid in full before final images are released.

4. IMAGE OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law, Hookum Photography LLC retains ownership and copyright of photographs and edited images created by Hookum Photography LLC.

Payment for photography services does not constitute a transfer or sale of copyright.

Clients receive only the usage rights specifically provided by Hookum Photography LLC or stated in their written agreement.

5. PORTFOLIO, MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL USE

Subject to applicable law and any written agreement with the client, Hookum Photography LLC may use photographs created during a session for its portfolio, website, social media, advertising, studio displays, publications, promotional materials, competitions, demonstrations, and other business marketing purposes.

Where the client's separate consent or authorization is legally required for a particular use, Hookum Photography LLC will obtain that authorization before such use.

6. RAW FILES

ABSOLUTELY NO RAW OR UNEDITED FILES WILL BE PROVIDED.

RAW files, unedited photographs, working files, source files, rejected images, test shots, and other unfinished materials are considered part of Hookum Photography LLC's internal creative process and are not included in any photography package or final delivery.

Clients will receive only the photographs selected and professionally edited for final delivery by Hookum Photography LLC.

7. CREATIVE DIRECTION & DESIGN

Hookum Photography LLC maintains creative control over the photography and post-production process, including editing, color treatment, image selection, composition, layouts, themes, graphics, retouching, and overall presentation.

If a client requires a specific design, theme, style, color scheme, layout, or other creative direction, those requirements must be communicated clearly and in detail before design or editing work begins.

If specific instructions are not provided, the client authorizes Hookum Photography LLC to exercise its professional and creative judgment in completing the work.

8. REVISIONS

Revisions are intended to address an edit that was not completed as agreed or an approved editing requirement that was missed.

Revisions do not automatically include redesigning an approved or completed concept, changing the overall theme, selecting an entirely different creative direction, or requesting a new design because the client later changes their preference.

Requests involving a new design, theme, concept, or creative direction may be treated as additional work and may require additional fees.

Any additional revision fees must be paid before the revised or final images are released.

9. IMAGE RELEASE

Hookum Photography LLC reserves the right to withhold final image delivery until all amounts owed under the client's agreement have been paid in full.

This includes, when applicable, remaining session balances, late-payment fees, extended-session fees, revision charges, additional editing charges, product charges, and other authorized fees.

10. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By submitting a deposit/retainer, booking a session, signing a photography agreement, or otherwise purchasing services from Hookum Photography LLC, the client acknowledges that they have received, reviewed, and agreed to the applicable policies incorporated into their photography agreement.
